I've been desperatly looking for a job. I give plasma twice a week which gives me 50 dollars each week. Subtract tithing and I have 45 dollars for gas, food, dating, and anything else I might need. Larry helped me out a little bit by setting it up so I can answer his emails even though I'm in Idaho. That gives me about 2o minutes a day which equals out to roughly $3 a day. So...15 a week minus tithing I'm looking at 58.50 a week. When I figured this all out, I was stoked. I was a rich man. I'm making 58.50 a week!
Turns out that 58.50 a week isn't very much. :-/ That is what began my search for a job. I've been looking and talking to people and trying to get refered but to no avail (I hope I used that word correctly) About a month ago I turned in an application for Lexington Law Firm. They never called me back. So last week I called back and the reception told me to call yesterday. I called yesterday about 10 times and the manager was in meetings all day. So i decided to go down and see him. I just got out of the temple with Erica and so I dropped her off and printed off a resume and went down there. They just got out of an interview and walked over to me and this is how the conversation went.
Derek: Hi, my name is Derek Young, I turned in an application about a month ago and would like to check up on it, blah blah blah.
Manager: Well we just got done with interviews, you're a little too late.
Regional Director: But you're all dressed up and I have fifteen minutes, step into our office.
So I was interviewed and it went well and they liked me and told me they'd know by 5pm on Friday if I got the job. They called me today and said I got it. :-)
People call into lexington law firm when they have bad credit and lexington helps them improve it. I'm going into financial economics and figure a year and a half or more of working at a law firm dealing with credit and money while I'm in college will look great on a resume when I graduate college
Wow, that was a long post.
